Can men attend W-Tech Cymru?Yes. Although the day has been designed primarily for women in computing and IT men are welcome to register and come along on the day. Do I have to register in advance?Although W-Tech Cymru is free to attend, if you wish to come along you will need to register in advance. You can do this via the booking page. Can I bring friends or familiy members with me?Yes. Everyone is welcome to come along to W-Tech Cymru, whatever their age or gender. Is the venue close to town?University of Wales Trinity Saint David, Lampeter, is situatied in central Lampeter. If you have time and would like to look around the main streets are only a short walk from campus. How will I get the money to cover my travel expenses to Lampeter?Everyone who is eligible for their travel expenses to be covered will be able to apply after the event using forms that will be provided on the day. Receipts must be provided though, so make sure you keep them safe. You can check the eligibility requirements on the Travel Expenses page. Will everyone’s travel expenses be refunded after the event?Unfortunately only people who meet the eligibility criteria described on the Travel Expenses page will be able to get a refund on their travel costs. However, as this event may come under some organisations CPD programme you may want to check with your employer or university as they may be able to cover your costs. |
