'Women as Professionals in IT'W-Tech Cymru was a FREE one-day event aimed at all women interested in computing and IT, especially women returners, students and school-girls. It was a day of talks, workshops and networking opportunities, with the aim of encouraging more women to take up or develop a career in computing and IT. For those of you who came along on the day we hope you enjoyed W-Tech Cymru. Photos of the day, slides of the talks, and recordings of some of the sessions from the day will be available on this web site soon. All of us on the Women @ BCS in Wales committee hope to see you again at one of our events in the future. |

| W-Tech Cymru is based on the original W-Tech event, held in London in June 2009. The first event of its kind in the UK, this motivational event was organised by Women in Technology and BCSWomen, and is the inspiration for W-Tech Cymru. |  |
